  1. To retain presidential power illegally, Trump would need to prevent a duly elected POTUS from being sworn in by the Chief Justice as well as all statutorily authorized substitutes, all of whom would need to be willing to violate their own oaths.

    Trump wants to win reelection but does he want to govern? Not enough to risk a potential failure of a coup attempt is my hope.
